Create my profile now! This is a nice clean early ‘WWII K98’ bayonet. It has lovely undamaged dark brown Bakelite grips, and two crisp ‘Waffenampt’ stamps to the pommel. The blade retains most of its bluing, is stamped with ‘Coppel G.M.G.H’ to one side with ‘2426 over h’ to the other. The spine carries ‘40’ denoting manufacture in ‘1940’. The scabbard is the standard steel version and this carries ‘3479’ above the frog stud, whilst the other side carries ’42 cof’ which is the wartime code for ‘Carl Eikhorn’. A really nice ‘K98’ bayonet in good condition. The price includes U.K. delivery. BAYO 739.
