Create my profile now! This is a very good VZ 24 rifle modelled on the German K98 rifles. The VZ 24 rifle is a bolt-action carbine designed and produced in Czechoslovakia from 1924 to 1942. It was developed from the famous Mauser Gewehr 98 / K 98 lines, and features a very similar bolt design. During World War II, the VZ 24 was produced for the German armed forces during its occupation. The rifle was also produced in nearby Slovakia, a German ally and puppet state during the war. Our example has all original woodwork and metal and is fitted with forward and rear sling swivels. It has a steel butt plate, bayonet bar, adjustable rear sight, block and blade fore sight & cleaning rod. The rifle is number M50560 and has other un-matching numbers (illustrated). Originally deactivated to an old UK specification in 1996 and issued with a replacement certificate in 2022, the weapon cocks & dry fires. The price includes deactivation certificate and UK delivery**We can arrange for this firearm to be brought up to the latest UK/EU specification (customers can purchase on our lay-away scheme. The weapon will then be brought up to the EU specification and the relevant certificate obtained prior to the transfer of ownership and delivery)** D 1504
