Create my profile now!An original 1956 dated Belgian Army brush stroke parachutists trousers in excellent condition as issued to troops serving in the Belgian Congo. Following the Second World War the Belgian Army began designing and making its own uniforms again. These trousers have the correct printed camouflage pattern, usually referred to as 'Brush Stroke'. The colours and pattern are not too dissimilar to the British Denison smocks of the Second World War but are distinctly Belgian. Inside the waistband the original label is present and bears the markings 'ABL & BAWI', 1956 date and numbers ‘276’. The camo trousers have a reinforced seat, draw cord and buttoned waist, flap pocket on one leg and boot legs. They are approx. UK size inside leg length 28”, waist 34-36”.
