Create my profile now!This is an excellent, original World War 1 dated British WD Officer's MK VI .455 calibre Service Revolver. It is serial number 372578 which is stamped on the barrel, frame & cylinder. On the right side of the frame it is crisply stamped 'Webley Mark VI Patents' and dated ‘1918’. It has WD proof/ inspection marks on its frame and ‘Mark VI’. The pistol has its original finely chequered Bakelite grips and Lanyard ring. Deactivated to early UK specification in 1996 the pistol’s barrel is open and over bored and the cylinders are blocked. The pistol cocks and dry fires in both single & double action. The pistol breaks open for loading as it should. 6 rounds of inert, deactivated Kynoch brass cased .455 calibre ammunition come with the pistol for display.
