Create my profile now!‘The last of the traditional steel Webley & Scott air pistols’. The year 1964 witnessed the arrival of a design which was intended to encapsulate all of the most favorable characteristics of previous models. Following the relocation of Webley & Scott factory in 1958, it had been the first new air pistol to be produced at the modern Handsworth plant and thus required a suitable title to empathise the fact. This very good example comes with a later box and original Webley & Scott paper target and instructions inside the lid. The blueing is very good with only minor use related marks to the right hand side of the cylinder. The serial number is ‘701’ with ‘01’ also on the barrel release. The brown grips are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks present. See page 114 of Webley Air Pistols by Gordon Bruce for reference. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The price includes UK delivery. NB As a post 1939 Air Pistol the restrictions of the Crime Reduction Act apply to the sale & delivery of this item. 5409:11.
