On the 11th June 2003 the Prime Minister announced in the House of Commons that the General Service Medal 1918-62 and the Naval General Service Medal 1915-62 with 'Canal Zone' clasps were to be awarded to those who had served in the Suez Canal Zone of Egypt during the period 16th October 1951 to 19th October 1954. The qualification criteria for the Suez Canal Zone GSM (or Clasp) is to have served for a minimum of 30 consecutive days within the Canal Zone area during the period 16th October 1951 to 19th October 1954. This is an original British General Service Medal With Canal Zone Clasp & original ribbon with original box of issue to ‘AC1 PN Anderson (2506577) RAF’ together with a miniature GSM with Canal Zone clasp pin mounted for wear. Both the original GSM with CZ clasp and the miniature are in excellent condition, clean with no damage. Neither medal is named but the box of issue which is clean and undamaged bears Queen’s crown and a label with the recipients details (illustrated). The price includes UK delivery. Sn 19181
