The grenade has a mid-blue hard rubber body and has raised lettering PRAC over GREN. L56A1 XEL and 11 over 90 (date) within a circle. The grenade is fitted with a L134A1fuse assembly. The fly off lever is blue and is stencilled in white L134A CY (Chorley) 04-91 (date) 054 . The base has a hollow cavity 25mm in diameter 60mm deep.
