INERT. This is an original British 40mm practice rifle grenade for the SA 80 British service rifle. The grenade is fin stabilised and is launched from the adaptor on the SA 80 rifle. This grenade is the training variant of the L74A1 HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) Grenade. The rifle grenade that retains most of its original dark blue painted finish and the green plastic fin assembly where the fins are canted to give some spin stabilisation to the projectile.
