Create my profile now!An excellent condition WW2 Japanese Arisaka Type 30 sword bayonet with its scabbard & frog. The bayonet is the Kokura arsenal type B variant (see page 101 of Bayonets of Japan by Labar). It has its undamaged slab wood grips which have light service wear to each surface and a single edged fullered blade with a Kokura Arsenal mark and small indistinct inspection mark at the ricasso. The spung release catch at the pommel works as it should. The blade is just under 15 ½” length and it is 20 ¼” overall. The pommel is numbered 2148170’ and has small indistinct inspection mark. Its original blued steel scabbard has no dents and has a fixed hanging bar. The scabbard is fitted with an original rare to find 3 piece brown leather frog with front retaining strap and large buckle (see page 449 item LFB-8 of Labar’s book where a double loop frog the same as ours is illustrated. All stitching and leather of the frog are clean & intact. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 21425 (box 1)
