The Polish Vis Pistolet WZ. 35, Nazi designation 9 mm Pistole 35(p), often referred to as the Radom is a 9 mm calibre, single-action, semi-automatic pistol. It was originally designed by Piotr Wilniewczyc and Jan Skrzypiñski in 1930 at the Fabryka Broni (Arms Factory) in Radom. It was adopted in 1935 as the standard handgun of the Polish Army and was considered by many to be one of the finest handguns ever produced. After the Polish defeat in 1939, the Germans took over the Radom Armoury and continued production of the Vis. Nazi German pistols of the first series had inscriptions VIS Mod.35 and P.35(p) on the left side. The pistols were issued to German Paratroopers and Nazi Police. This is a superb example of an original Nazi made 9mm Parabellum Radom Semi automatic pistol. It is serial number J0056. The slide has faint Nazi production 'F.B. Radom Vis Mod 35 and P 35 (P)' designation. The frame and slide have faint Heer Eagle with swastika army acceptance marks & Waffenamt. The magazine is waffenamt (all illustrated). The metal work and fine chequered ribbed black composite grips are undamaged. The butt has a fixed military lanyard ring. Deactivated to UK specification in 2004 the weapon cocks and dry fires and the magazine can be removed. The price for this iconic weapon includes deactivation certificate and UK delivery. Sn 20067:7
