A scarce Chinese antique brass mounted sword, probably circa 1860-1900.The grip bound with braid with brass top and bottom scabbard mounts embossed with symbols. The single edged blade inlaid with seven copper circles, two fullers running down the blade, blade length approx 19 inches. A scarce sword quite possibly brought back to the UK after the Boxer rebellion circa 1900-1901. In its correct brass mounted scabbard with two brass hanging rings. The scabbard split at the join.
