The barrel engraved on top with the name of the original agent in Alabama, USA. C. SUTER SELMA ALA. (Casper Suter of Selma, Alabama was working 1796-1873). Finely engraved lock plate and trigger guard. Mounts of nickel silver. The chequered walnut butt fitted with a shield shaped nickel silver escutcheon. Action in good working order.
