Action Needs attention. - A rare Tranter's style bronze frame seven shot .36 cal rim-fire Revolver. circa 1865-1875. Engraved on the 4 inch octagonal barrel with the makers name D. GASS LONDON. Finely chequered two piece grips. Fine engraving to much of the bronze frame. Swing out loading gate. British proof marks stamped on the cylinder. Main spring is fine but cylinder does not index correctly, otherwise in working order. It was working when we purchased and now it is not. Quite possibly may need stripping down and cleaning?
