A very fine authentic silver mounted Scottish dirk dating from the mid 19th century, (the mounts are probably silver plated). The hilt finely carved with a Celtic weave pattern and inlaid overall with small silver studs. The pommel with a silver metal cap. The 13 inch scalloped blade is stamped with the makers mark "CROMAR". Complete with its matching bi-knife and fork, each with matching carved wooden hilt. Complete in its silver mounted leather scabbard. (The mounts are most probably silver plate also). Some normal wear to the mounts and ageing to the blade (please see photos), otherwise in very good condition. Length in scabbard is 19.5 inches overall. Ref 4030.
