This is an excellent, original, complete, French form , Victorian, Black Powder Flask for pistols . It is similar in form to chargers illustrated on page 395 item 1168-2 of the Powder Flask Book by Riling. It measures 5" overall length and the polished, flattened horn flask and the flat brass base secured by pins is 1 ¼” x 2” . The horn is clean and has nice colour. It has a brass throat cap with sprung brass opening lever. There are no visible manufacturer marks on the flask. The sprung lever charger is graduated ’50-55-60’ grains. The horn is fitted with 2 small brass rings mounted with copper chain . The price for this attractive flask includes UK delivery. A 1090
