This is an excellent Mauser Model 1914 / 34 7.65mm Calibre Pocket Pistol. It measures 6 ½” overall making it ideal for concealment and issue to Detectives or Covert Operations Teams. These pistols were manufactured between 1914-1945. This pistol has undamaged wood grips with chequered panels. It has its original blue finish. The slide is crisply marked with the ' Waffenfabrik Mauser A.G. Oberndorf A.N' factory address and number '498985'. The frame has the Mauser cartouche. The right side of the slide is crisply stamped 'Cal 7.65 – DRPuAP’. The frame has small inspection marks and is stamped ‘LDK’ most likely a Military Or Police Unit Mark. Deactivated to UK specification in 2003 the weapon cocks and dry fires, the slide locks back and the magazine can be removed.
