It has faint serial number on the trigger block which appears to be ‘GE 1632’ which dates it to between December 1965 and mid 1967 (see page 49 of Hillers Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The woodwork is showing some signs of age related use but no major damage. The metalwork has age well, still retaining the majority of its blueing. The paint has marks in it around the trigger guard and rear of the cylinder which is common. It is under lever cocking and has a shrouded ramp foresight & flip up rear sight. The top of the air cylinder has the correct 2 continuous grooves for telescopic sight which are ½ “apart. The top of the barrel has BSA manufacturer name, piled arms trademark and calibre detail. Its loading and firing actions work as they should with a strong spring action. The price includes UK delivery. NB as a post 1939 Air Weapon the restrictions of the Crime Reduction Act apply to the sale and delivery of this item. 20404.
